Azerbaijan Airlines selects ACL Airshop for its pallet fleet

Azerbaijan Airlines has signed a ULD management agreement with ACL Airshop covering the airline’s pallet fleet.

ACL Airshop will provide management, operational support and digital tracking solutions for Azerbaijan Airlines’ fleet.

The deal also includes inventory and stock control, movement monitoring, positioning and recovery, repair coordination, airworthiness management, operational reporting and access to ACL Airshop’s digital ULD Management systems.

“The partnership will combine ACL Airshop’s international ULD management capabilities with its extensive operational experience and partner network across Azerbaijan, the Balkans and Central Asia,” the ULD firm said in a press release.

“This regional knowledge will enable ACL Airshop to provide responsive support while connecting Azerbaijan Airlines to a broader global network of ULD stock, logistics resources and certified repair capabilities.”

The agreement comes as Azerbaijan Airlines continues to modernise its fleet and expand its route network and will support future requirements in line with the expansion.

“ACL Airshop will work closely with Azerbaijan Airlines’ operational teams and handling partners to ensure the pallet fleet is positioned efficiently and available wherever it is needed,” the company added.

ACL added that it has experience in the central Asian region supporting airlines and cargo operators in Azerbaijan and Central Asia, including Silk Way Airlines.
